Ethical Policies

The Social Archives (TSA) upholds the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in academic publishing. The journal follows the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness throughout the publication process.

Authorship and Originality

  • Authors must submit only original works that have not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  • All authors listed on the paper should have made a significant contribution to the research and agree to its submission.
  • Proper acknowledgment must be given to all sources, ideas, and data used in the manuscript.

Plagiarism and Data Fabrication

  • TSA maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, duplication, data manipulation, or falsification.
  • All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before the review process.
  • Submissions with plagiarism exceeding 19% (excluding references) or with single source exceeding 5% will be rejected immediately.

Conflicts of Interest

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the results, interpretation, or review of the manuscript.
  • All disclosed conflicts will be evaluated, and if necessary, manuscripts may be reassigned or withdrawn.

Research Ethics and Human Subjects

  • Research involving human participants, surveys, or interviews must comply with ethical standards and, where applicable, include approval from an institutional ethics committee.
  • Authors should ensure the privacy, consent, and confidentiality of all participants.

Peer Review Integrity

  • TSA follows a double-blind peer review system to maintain objectivity and impartiality.
  • Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback and maintain confidentiality regarding the manuscript content.
  • Editors ensure that review decisions are made solely based on the scholarly merit of the submission.

Editorial Independence

  • The editorial team operates independently to ensure unbiased decision-making.
  • Editors and reviewers must not use unpublished materials from submitted manuscripts for personal or professional advantage.

Post-Publication Ethics

  • In case of errors, ethical concerns, or misconduct identified after publication, TSA reserves the right to issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern as necessary.
  • The journal remains committed to maintaining the academic record with transparency and integrity.

Responsibilities of Authors, Reviewers, and Editors
